Our October event will be a seated dinner at Ark Hills Club in honour of Lord Patten of Barnes, the Chancellor of Oxford University, on Wednesday 24th.

Dress code: Lounge suits
Attendance fees: 8,000 yen for members, 10,500 for guests
Payment is required in advance. Bank details and directions to the venue will be sent to those who sign up.

Joint event with NYU Alumni Club in Japan and Columbia University Alumni Association of Japan, September 20, 2018

The first event of the second half is a joint networking event with the NYU and Columbia alumni clubs in Japan.

Date and time: Thursday, September 20, 19:00 - 21:00 (doors open at 18:30)
Venue: NYU School of Professional Studies Tokyo, 22F, Shinagawa Intercity Tower A (near Shinagawa Station)
Attendance fee: 7,000 yen (Includes drinks and a cold buffet. Payment is required in advance. The Society’s bank account details will be sent to those who sign up, as will directions to the venue. No refunds for cancellations after September 17th, unless places can be passed on to other members.)

Dinner for gourmets at Privé de Lien (Ikejiri Ohashi), Thursday, July 19 (18:30 - )

The last event for the first half of this year will be an 8-course gourmet dinner in the recently opened annex of Lien, a small French restaurant near Ikejiri Ohashi Station. The annex, Privé de Lien, is even smaller than the main restaurant, and although we have booked the whole place on July 19th, we will only be able to accommodate 16 people.

Members who wish to attend this dinner should contact Tim Minton (t.minton[at]camford[dot]org) by July 16th, bearing in mind that all of the places will almost certainly have been taken long before this date!

Early Summer Party at the British Ambassador’s Residence, May 23 (18:30 - 21:00)

Our main May event, the annual Early Summer Party, will be held on Thursday, May 23rd (18:30 – 21:00) at the British Ambassador’s Residence and hosted by the Society’s President and British Ambassador to Japan, HE Paul Madden CMG.

Applications to attend will be accepted only via the online registration form available at the URL sent by email to C&O members on April 25th.

Seated Dinner at The Tokyo Club to Celebrate Princess Takamado's Honorary Fellowship, Oct. 31 (18:30 - 21:00)

The October event will be a seated 5-course dinner at The Tokyo Club on Thursday, 31st October to congratulate HIH Princess Hisako Takamado on the Honorary Fellowship she was awarded in February by her alma mater, Girton College, Cambridge.

Members who would like to attend should contact Tim Minton (t.minton[at]camford[dot]org) by October 28th.

Dress code: Black tie
Attendance fee: 8,000 yen (Includes pre-dinner drinks, 5-course meal, and after-dinner drinks. Payment is required in advance.
